Sampler

Sampler riffs on the tradition of embroidery or knitting samplers, which are the production of small swatches of different stitch techniques, both to learn the technique and to have for future reference. The idea is to start with a number of experimentation with knitting machines. The team will have several machines to test/explore: the most complex is an electronic Passap double-bed machine, but there is also a single-bed punchcard machine, a bulky (heavier gauge) punchcard with a ribber, and a very simple machine with only manual selection. The Passap and the single-bed punchcard will be available in studio for this project.
