COMMIT! by Kate Ladenheim

Hi, I’m Kate. I’m a postgraduate fellow at @artcenteredu . For the past couple of years I’ve been researching motion as design material and how the body interacts with media and machines.

I’m running a performance next week where I’ll fall over and over again, and you, the audience, will tell me whether or not my fall was committed enough, and then I’ll keep trying to make my fall as committed as you want it to be for an hour or until I get too tired, whichever comes first. I’ll be collecting data on these falls so I can find the most perfect, committed one and learn what makes it so perfectly committed!
