Danya Glabau
Danya Glabau, PhD, is an anthropologist, science and technology studies (STS) scholar, and feminist futurist. She the Founder of Implosion Labs, an ethnography-driven research group, a Faculty member at the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research, and Adjunct Instructor in the Technology, Culture, and Society department at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Her scholarly research and book-in-progress examines food allergy patient activism in the United States, while her consulting work focuses on advocating for human-centered innovation in emerging industries like virtual reality. A commitment to imagining and developing technologies that make life better for more people, especially women, workers, and people of color, runs through all of her work.

Wind Tunnel Graduate Center for Critical Practice is an initiative of the graduate programs in Art and Media Design Practices at Art Center College of Design. The Wind Tunnel, situated between the two programs in a former supersonic jet testing facility on Art Center's south campus, is a forum for speakers, conferences, exhibitions, residencies, screenings, and publications.
