Wilderishness

This project is an expansion of a series of previous (and ongoing) projects: the series of “possible essays” from MADE UP called Aspirants to Reality, the video series Everything On Time (with Ben Hooker and Jenny Rodenhouse), and the COLA Fellowship project.

While the forms of these projects are all different, they each share a structural quality of being a series of short elements to comprise a larger, emergent, collective “idea world.”

The specific themes explore a notion I call “wilderishness:” the physical world re-structured according to new and disruptive conditions from technology, economy, demographics, politics, society. As these changes proliferate and accelerate, they enact their specific logics into the actual shape of the world and our institutions.
