Compossible Assemblages

Rachel Rose Waterhouse

Thesis Project

Compossible Assemblages is a series of near-future interventions and provocations that renegotiate the capitalistic paradigms of utilitarian infrastructure networks (e.g. water, data centers, telecommunications). These design engagements examine how networks of infrastructure and the pervasiveness of computation have perpetuated the binary of humans versus wilderness, resulting in unbalanced relationships between humans and nonhuman entities.
